Mike’s TF2 Themed Chess Cake

Mike loves playing Team Fortress 2 and everything game related.   His girlfriend took the lead on throwing him a memorable birthday bash and asked for a cake that would be fun and delicious yet chic and elegant.  She suggested a chess cake and German Chocolate, and I took it from there.  The tiles are made from white chocolate, the pieces are shortbread cookies decorated with chocolate.  The door frame and ammunition belts are made from fondant.  It was a great success at the party
