Cherry Blossom Tree Wedding

By far my most complex wedding order.  Cherry blossoms are a classic wedding inspiration and wonderful representation of April.This is a 3 tier faux cake with 3 different shaped cakes.  The trickiest part was that this cake was to be displayed with a 360 viewing, which means no backside to hide ribbon ends or fondant seams.

The tree at the top is my own creation made from a combination of floral wire, handmade gumpaste flowers, and chocolate fondant.

This cake also included a hidden slice of real cake for photo opportunities, and the guests enjoyed a kirsch torte sheet cake.
