First Birthday Invitation

A co-worker came to me last minute with a need for a first birthday cake and no time for creativity.  The simplest solution was to place the image from the invitation on the cake.

I say simplest, but that was only in terms of coming up with a concept.  Copying type font out of chocolate was incredibly frustrating, and I really hope I don’t have to do it again for a while.  Here’s the final product with white chocolate decoration.

I really liked the color scheme in this image.  It’s very classy yet still colorful and playful.  Here’s the original image.
