The order said pink cake with fairies. This was my response.
The cake was a Raspberry Chiffon with buttercream icing, so I made the incredibly delicate detail out of buttercream.
This is the most intricate and tiniest detail I have ever attempted out of buttercream, and it came out perfectly. Normally, this cake has a raspberry topping, but since they requested fairies and pink icing, I figured they didn’t want the topping, which spills down the sides. This left me with very plain looking sides, so I opted for cake crumbs mixed with tiny hearts and pink sugar.
