My boss asked for a rainbow themed cake for his daughter, so I knew it had to be extra special.
The picture he brought me had fondant decoration, and since he tends to lean towards whipped cream icing, I had to get a little creative.
I used a disposable cutting board as the center support for the rainbow, coating both sides in colored white chocolate. I used the same chocolate to make the hearts around the edge and left some space for an extra bit of decoration they added on at the party. I also made sure to include a light coating of shimmer spray to the rainbow and used rose pink for the name so that it would stand out from the other colors. I’m slowly mastering the 3D chocolate world, and not so patiently awaiting my next challenge.
